While survival rate was 46% in the previous adaptation period of the tub gurnard, it was found 93.5% for tagged individuals at the end of the experiment. It was observed that the fish in the tank were initially stressful, but they started to eat fresh food after three days later. Although the first two months of food intake was observed, increases in length and weight were determined in the thereinafter. This study shows that the tub gurnard can adapt to farm condition and also provide to start aquaculture studies as an alternative species.
