DOI : 10.17693/yunusae.v16i21960.235776 Viewed : 2952 - Downloaded : 1760 In Balikligol, this monitoring study was conducted seasonally at four stations including influent water, Aynızeliha, Halilurrahman Lakes and Hasan Pasa Mosque`s effluent water in 2013. In this study, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity, total hardness, chemical oxygen demand, biological oxygen demand, dissolved anions and cations (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, ammonium, nitrate, fluoride, phosphate, chloride and sulphate) total phosphorus, total nitrogen were monitored for a year. The measured values in all stations, has been evaluated according to 'Surface Water Quality Management Regulations'. Generally, Balikligol had first class water quality although it was determined that in terms of total phosphorus and nitrite, it had second and third class water quality in terms of nitrate. As a result, Balikligol of Sanliurfa evaluated for the physical and chemical parameters and through the data obtained there have been suggestions about the sustainable use of the lake.
