Acute Toxicity of Insecticides Lambda-Cyhalothrin and Cypermethrin on Oreochromis niloticus (L., 1754) Larvae (Bioassay)

In this study, methods of bioassay test which called static method has been applied. The study was carried out under laboratory conditions at 25±2 ºC. The results has been estimated with the dose-response data were fitted a log-logistic model. The 24-h acute LC50 values were calculated. According to the results, acute toxic effects researched Lambda-Cyhalothrin and Cypermethrin the 24-h LC50 acute toxic lethal concentration values for Oreochromis niloticus (L., 1754) larvae were calculated Lambda-Cyhalothrin LC50 6.80±0.63 μgl-1 and Cypermethrin LC50 15.88±0.65 μgl-1.
